Pages are URL patterns that you'll use to tell Optimizely where to run campaigns and experiments on your site. Use them as templates, or for a single experiment or campaign.
To set up your pages:
- Navigate to Implementation > Pages.
- Select New Page.
- Name your page.
- Select the page type from the dropdown menu.
Single URL targets a single web page where you want to change the experience, like your homepage.
A set of URLs targets a group of web pages that share the same template, like all product detail pages on an e-commerce site.
Global targets all web pages with the Optimizely snippet to change elements that appear on all pages, like a navigation menu.
- Use URL Match Types to set the URL. Click Test URL(s) to confirm that the pattern you specified matches your URL.
- Select the activation mode from the dropdown menu.
If the page can't be identified by a unique URL, select Manual. This generates code that you or your developer can place on your site. Our developer docs have more information about how to implement this code.
- Click Save Page.
Congratulations! You created a page you can add to any experiment!
