Challenge Feedback: Answering Athena
When you write to Athena, you need to tell her: “We can track events across different parts of our site by making sure those pages are included in the same project and using the same snippet.” Once your developers are ready to input the snippet, they’ll find it in the Settings tab, under Implementation. Page flashing is usually caused when the snippet isn’t high enough in the header. It should appear above all elements on the page, the analytics or heatmapping code, and any other content in the tag manager. When you QA your project, if you notice events aren’t tracking across all areas of the site you’d wanted to track, it’s likely because you haven’t added the snippet to the pages you want to track.
