Practice: Building a Schedule and Responsibilities
Once you feel confident you understand what’s necessary to build a team and establish the necessary communication both within your team and to the rest of the company, take some time and consider who in your company you’d add to your team. Also consider how you’d balance the schedules of the team members and what communication methods you’d use to communicate within your team and within the company, such as standing meetings or an internal listserv. It might also be a good time to consider how you’d motivate the organization overall toward an interest in optimization. How will you broadcast and promote your experiments and wins in a way that attracts other employees?
