Forrester interviewed several customers that have migrated from the on-premise Ektron solution to Optimizely DXP. These organizations deliver content to unique visitors ranging from tens of thousands to millions per month. Read the report to find out the constraints these customers faced with the Ektron system, why the migration to Optimizely DXP was necessary and benefits they have seen since migrating.  

Following the transition to Optimizely DXP, customers were able to take charge of the content release timing and much of the responsibilities previously handled by IT were carved out and collapsed into a shortened workstream with content producers taking control of updates directly.  

TEI framework and methodology

From the information provided in the interviews, Forrester has constructed a Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) framework for those organizations considering implementing Episerver Digital Experience Platform when already on Episerver Ektron. The objective of the framework is to identify the cost, benefit, flexibility, and risk factors that affect the investment decision. Forrester took a multistep approach to evaluate the impact that Episerver Digital Experience Platformcan have on an organization.
