Per our understanding, the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms report provides an overview of DXP market trends and assesses the strengths and cautions of vendors providing digital experience platforms (DXP). This is Optimizely’s fourth year of recognition in the report.

How does Gartner define digital experience platforms?

Gartner defines a digital experience platform (DXP) as, "An integrated set of core technologies that support the composition, management, delivery and optimization of contextualized digital experiences."

Why is the Gartner Magic Quadrant for DXP useful for evaluators?

There is a great deal of variety in vendor solutions for DXP. We believe that the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms 2021 can help professionals responsible for digital and customer experiences find a vendor that is right for their needs.

Vendors named in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for DXP 2021

The Gartner Magic Quadrant for DXP 2021 assesses a total of 16 vendors. These vendors are recognized/evaluated in the quadrant according to whether they are a Leader, a Challenger, a Visionary or a Niche Player.

Per our understanding, to be included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms, vendors must meet several criteria related to product packaging, revenue and market, geographic coverage and functionality. The DXP solution must be able to perform or support functions for customer experience, DXP management, multichannel delivery, customer data management, cloud enablement and multilingual support, among other functionality.
