Steve is Head of Web at Arup. His role encompasses a number of different digital touchpoints including acting as the primary product owner for Arup’s corporate website, arup.com, as well as supporting content development and digital marketing activities. Having worked at Arup for almost 7 years, Steve has successfully led the evolution of arup.com, overseeing considerable user growth, undertaking several major developments across multiple platforms, and in 2023-2024, leading the project to relaunch the website – moving from Sitecore to Optimizely. The project was undertaken across just 10 months and saw over 2000 pages of content built within a 3-month period. Prior to working at Arup, Steve spent 8 years at the Institution of Civil Engineers, overseeing the charity’s website and working with the inhouse development team to continuously improve the website which was a mixture of content and ecommerce.
