Robots Content Management in Opal
Opal integrates Add-Ons like Stott Robots Handler, enabling natural language management of robots.txt and llms.txt, streamlining content governance.
In this solution, I will be adding tools directly into the Add-On that can expose it's data management to Opal. The casing example in this case will be the Stott Robots Handler. In this scenario I will be exposing the management of robots.txt and llms.txt content to Opal by providing new endpoints which align with Opal's requirements. Users will be able to ask opal what robots.txt content will be served for a specific domain. They will be able to ask Opal to add new query string exceptions to the robots.txt or to evaluate the current llms.txt.
Agencies with multiple websites to manage will not need to write tools to enable this functionality or deploy additional or duplicate environments to facilitate this functionality. Instead they will have the option to configure a security token with read-only or writable permissions within the Stott Robots Handler interface and then register that directly within Opal to enable the functionality.
