Quite a lot, as it happens. Your ticket gets you into the general session, breakouts, masterclasses, workshops and product demos. You’ll also get access to exhibitor stands, a well-stocked swag bag, all-day catering and refreshments, and automatic registration for Opticon Online. Not bad for free.

- By subway: the closest station is 34th Street-Hudson Yards (7 train). It’s a five-minute hike from there to the Javits Center.
- By train: Penn Station is a ten-minute walk west along 34th Street towards 11th Avenue.
- By car: use what3words ///rams.paid.socket to find us.
London
The Barbican is well connected by public transport and a short walk from several underground and mainline stations as well as the Slow Horses office. Plan your journey at tfl.gov.uk. Use what3words ///planet.work.spicy to find the Silk Street entrance.
New York
The Javits Center doesn’t have onsite parking, but there are plenty of options nearby. We’d recommend booking in advance.
London
The Barbican has a 24-hour underground car park accessed via Silk Street. Book online or pay on arrival at barbican.org.uk.
Opticon New York and London is packed into one epic day, so accommodation isn’t included. To make your stay a little smoother, the Opticon team has lined up preferential rates at a selection of nearby hotels. Just book directly with your preferred hotel:

Yep and there’s plenty of it. We provide grab-and-go breakfast, lunch, all-day drinks and refreshments, plus drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the closing reception.

The Agenda Builder goes live on July 28 for both New York and London. Log in anytime after that to pick your breakouts, personalize your day and build your perfect Camp Opticon experience. You’ll need your confirmation number and registration email to access it.
You must be 21 or over to attend Opticon.
