The Figma connector links Agent Platform to your Figma account, giving agents and Mark access to design file structures, components, styles, design tokens, and export assets — directly from within Agent Platform. It is installed via the Optimizely Connect Platform and uses user-level authentication, so each person only accesses files their Figma account can view.

Once connected, users can retrieve full Figma file structures, extract frames from share links, resolve Figma URLs, inspect design system components and variables, generate image exports, annotate files, and manage comments — all through Mark Chat, agents, or workflows. The connector provides 18 distinct tools covering the full range of Figma data interactions.

Marketing teams, designers, and digital teams who work with Figma design files as part of their campaign and content workflows will benefit most. If you regularly reference design assets, need to inspect component definitions, or want to automate parts of the handoff between design and development, this connector brings that data into Agent Platform without requiring a separate Figma session alongside your marketing work.

Example use cases:

  • Ask Chat to resolve a Figma share link and return the file name, page structure, and top-level frame names.
  • Retrieve all frames tagged for a specific campaign from a Figma file, generate image exports in defined sizes, and return the assets ready for use in a social media content brief.
  • Build a design system audit workflow that retrieves all components, variables, and styles from a Figma design system file, compares them against a defined brand token specification, identifies deviations or missing definitions, and generates a discrepancy report for the design team — with a prioritized list of components to update before the next product release.
