GitHub for Agent Platform
Access repositories, manage issues and pull requests, and automate development tasks from Agent Platform.
The GitHub remote MCP connector links Agent Platform directly to your GitHub environment, allowing agents and Mark to access and manage repositories, search and analyze source code, manage issues and pull requests, review commits, and automate development tasks — without leaving Agent Platform. The connector is managed by GitHub.
An administrator connects the integration once from the Connectors section in Agent Platform, and individual users authenticate with their own GitHub accounts. Once enabled, tools work across Mark Chat, agents, and workflows. Administrators can choose which tools to enable.
Marketing technology teams and digital teams who manage website infrastructure in GitHub will benefit most — particularly those where marketing work and development work intersect. If your team tracks website changes, campaign feature requests, or technical issues in GitHub, this connector lets you monitor and manage that work from within Agent Platform without maintaining a separate GitHub session during your marketing workflow.
Example use cases:
- Ask Chat to search GitHub issues in the website repository for all open bugs tagged with a specific label and return a summary of each.
- Review all pull requests merged to the main branch in the last 7 days that affect a key landing page, and flag any changes that could impact conversion tracking or page performance before a campaign launch.
- Build a campaign deployment readiness workflow that checks GitHub for open issues and pending pull requests affecting the campaign landing pages, reviews the most recent code changes for tracking integrity, creates a GitHub issue for any problems found, and produces a go/no-go recommendation with a linked summary of all relevant repository activity from the past 14 days.
