What is it?
Compound metrics are a new feature in Optimizely Experimentation that allows you to create customized metrics. These metrics are calculated as a ratio between selected numerator and denominator events, with both types of events chosen by the user. The calculation process considers the sequence of these events: numerator events are counted only for users who have also converted on the corresponding denominator events.

What is it?
Event properties enable you to include additional information within your events, which can later be utilized to create specific metrics based on these properties. This feature simplifies capturing similar events, such as clicks on different elements of the header, by allowing you to include them all within a single event and filter them down on properties included with that event, within Web and Feature Experimentation’s UI.

Optimizely Web Experimentation’s new Edge Delivery feature is an innovative approach to front-end website experimentation that enables customers to leverage their own edge workers as part of implementing with us. Once implemented directly in the customer’s Cloudflare edge worker, we can do decisioning for any of the data we already have available, and for the experiences we have finished decisioning for, we can also often apply change application via Cloudflare’s HTML Rewriter. All of this is done at the edge, reducing the load on the visitor’s browser, which can greatly improve performance and reliability.
