Web Experimentation's HTML element targeting now supports dynamic selectors by targeting unique custom attributes via your chosen prefix. If the selected element does not contain a custom attribute with the configured prefix, we generate a path from the element to the parent element that has such attribute up until the body tag. This will help you create variations and events faster and easier, without developer dependency, while maintaining confidence in the quality of your tests.

Optimizely Web Experimentation’s new Edge Delivery feature is an innovative approach to front-end website experimentation that enables customers to leverage their own edge workers as part of implementing with us. Once implemented directly in the customer’s Cloudflare edge worker, we can do decisioning for any of the data we already have available, and for the experiences we have finished decisioning for, we can also often apply change application via Cloudflare’s HTML Rewriter. All of this is done at the edge, reducing the load on the visitor’s browser, which can greatly improve performance and reliability.
