  • In September 2020 Optimizely was acquired by Episerver, a leading Digital Experience Platform. After a year in which the digital experience space and customer expectations evolved at lightning speed we decided that we needed to combined the strength of Episerver and Optimizely to ensure we’re providing customers with the best-in-class digital experience platform.

    We’re excited to announce that this year Episerver and Optimizely will be moving forward as a combined business under the name Optimizely.

    While we’re keeping the name Optimizely, we’ll be forming a new brand that is built on both companies’ roots. Over the coming months, you’ll start to see changes to our visual identity, for example a new logo, leading up to the full brand relaunch in September.

  • In February 2021 we will be launching a rebranded Optimizely. We’ll be launching a new logo and a new vision and mission to move forward as a combined business with Episerver.

  • With Episerver and Optimizely combined as one business, we can accelerate our combined product roadmap and ensure we’re providing you with the best products and services to help you unlock your digital potential. 

  • Your contract will remain the same. The Legal entities of the business are not changing. You might see some façade changes on new contracts to reflect our new logo, but all contracts will remain the same in content.  

  • The name change will not impact the products that you currently use. However, as one combined business we will now have a single point of investment focus into our product roadmap, meaning we can expand the catalog of products that we offer our customers.

  • Yes. We do not have any organizational changes planned and we are committed to maintaining business as usual for our customers throughout the rebrand process and beyond.  

  • With a single point of investment focus with a combined company we will be able to accelerate the roadmap of the great products that we offer. In the coming months you can expect to receive communications about our Product Roadmap strategy and if you have any questions please contact your TAM directly.
