Chris Byington is Director of Analytics at Updater, a NYC-based technology company that makes moving easier for the 45M Americans who move every year. Chris oversees the data analytics function, partnering with stakeholders to turn data into information and to use it to drive business outcomes. Before Updater Chris led Analytics at Heroku, a Salesforce company, where he used data to deeply understand software developers and help them be more successful. A recovering stats nerd, Chris' favorite statistical technique is bootstrapping. He holds a bachelor's degree in French and Economics from Pomona College.
Dan Storms is the VP Product at Updater, a startup that makes moving easier for the 45M Americans who move every year. Previously, he was a product leader at The Knot, where helped millions of people get married every year, and at Originate, where he helped innovative companies launch new digital products. He is deeply passionate about the craft of product management, co-founding the NY Product Conference to up-level the NYC product community. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Computer Science.
