Industry Experts and Digital Leaders Take the Stage in Las Vegas to Share Strategies for Successful Digital Transformation

Episerver Ascend ‘15 User Conference Offers Web Developers, Marketers, Merchandisers and Business Leaders Inspiration and Insights for World-Class Digital Strategy and Execution

Episerver™, a leading provider of digital marketing and digital commerce solutions, today announced a preview of key customer-, partner- and industry analyst-led sessions for its Episerver Ascend ’15 user conference, Nov. 8-11, 2015 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

In addition to the keynote presentation by R “Ray” Wang, Principal Analyst and CEO of Constellation Research, guest speakers Ted Schadler, Vice President and Principal Analyst for Forrester Research, Inc., and Scott Liewehr, Co-Founder and CEO of Digital Clarity Group, will anchor theDigital Experience Delivered: Customer and Analyst Panel.” The panel is expected to foster a lively debate and provide insight on how to deliver standout experiences in an increasingly digital world.

Paul Demery, Managing Editor of B2B eCommerce for Internet Retailer and B2BecNews and the recently launched web site B2BeCommerceWorld.com, will lead a session on “Practical Advice on Digital Experience Design,” moderating a panel of customer and partner practitioners including Janome America and Techromix. Attendees will also hear from several key Episerver customers and partners on innovative, real-world applications of Episerver solutions. Among the notable customer-presented sessions on the agenda are:

  • Speakers from Mud Pie, an award-winning manufacturer of innovatively designed and affordably priced gifts, and digital agency Whereoware will deliver a session entitled, “Mud Pie: Delight Customers and Guide the Path to Purchase with Personalization,” on using personalization to delight customers, incentivize return visits, and drive conversions. By integrating the Episerver Digital Experience Cloud™ with marketing automation, Mud Pie’s eCommerce website identifies visitors and then personalizes content based on their behaviors. 
  • Speakers from Jazz Aviation, LP, a Canadian regional airline, will present a session entitled: What’s in Your Toolkit? Using the Right Tools to Enhance Employee Engagement in Your Extranet, profiling the company’s complete redesign of its JazzNet Intranet, and realization of an abundance of previously untapped tools Episerver could offer. A key success factor in the overall project was to determine which tools to introduce and in what order so as to not overwhelm their employees or content moderators, and to leverage its existing platform for an even greater return on investment.  
  • Representatives from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), one of the largest medical societies in the country, and Adage Technologies will present a case study presentation on: Connected Systems for Seamless eCommerce, exploring the business case, implementation and results of combining multiple cart paths into one. Attendees will hear how a focus on the customer journey has resulted in higher efficiency, increased sales and more member engagement.
